As long as we’ve been engineering, Design Sirs has been raising houses. A new build will usually give the simplest construction method & most freedom when it comes to buildinglayout and materials used. Design Sirs is well versed in a large range of construction materials & methods.
Some common choices when building new houses is a raft slab vs a waffle slab; or timber framing vs steel framing. We can answer any questions you may have about your project and help you decide what best suits your project.
We can provide you with a set of construction plans and structural details for a typical single storey housestartingat a rate of $2200-2800+GST and a two-storey house at a rate of 2800-3400+GST This includes;

RESIDENTIAL RETAINING WALLS
Adding a retaining wall or repairing an existing one, is a great small project to take on around your home. In some cases you may not need engineering on your wall. However, you will need engineering on any retaining wall that is:
- Over 1.0m in height
- Located with 1.5m of another structure (including buried service pipes)
